Hulda Bjarnadóttir has been appointed Managing Director of The American-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce as of March 1st 2016. Hulda succeeds Kristin S. Hjálmtýsdóttir, who recently took over as Managing Director of the Icelandic Red Cross.
We sincerely thank Kristin for her excellent work and contribution to the bilateral Chambers in the recent years and we take the opportunity to welcome Hulda.
For the past five years Hulda has served as Managing Director of FKA, the Association of Icelandic Women Business Leaders and prior to that she led Kraftur, an Association for young adults with cancer. She has served on various social and corporate boards, has in-depth experience in media, and has held Senior Accounts positions as a consultant in PR and events for domestic and foreign companies. Hulda has a BSc in Business Administration and MBA from Reykjavik University.
